Tai Chi & Qi Gong

Qi-gong is a form of exercise, originally from China, which harnesses the bodys natural energy or Chi. By using breathing techniques combined with gentle stretching exercises Qi-gong promotes flexibility, relaxation and balance. Students will feel the immediate benefits of reduced tension and with practice Qi-gong will work on general well-being and health.
Tai-chi is based on the same principles as Qi-gong, creating a flowing sequence of movements known as a tai-chi form. (You may learn more than one of these). The form combines grace and strength; it also requires a degree of concentration and precision. All of these features make Tai-chi a relaxing and rewarding form of exercise.
